The Roost

Fields behind Rippleside Elementary School

We are very proud of our community effort to transform the open space behind our elementary school to what we lovingly refer to as The Roost today. Upwards of $75,000 has been raised and spent on surface renovation, dugouts, fencing, storage, speaker system, and equipment. They are maintained by an army of volunteers each summer with the assistance of our wonderful maintenance staff of ISD #1.

The AHS Varsity team and our Flying 18s play on the southern most field depicted in the photo above. It is a completely enclosed field with nice spacious dugouts and room for younger kids and families to stretch out to the west of the field. There is a port-a-potty maintained on site in the summer as well. 

The AHS Junior Varsity field is the field pictured in the Northeast corner.  We have new covered dugouts (built 2022), new digital scoreboard, and new fencing. 

There is room for warming up around both of these fields.
