How to sign up for AYF Softball
STEP 1
Register with Community Ed
Check on which group your child will participate in based on their age then register for your age group on the Aitkin Community Education webpage (linked below)
Big Dreamers
Going into or just completed Kindergarten
Registration opens May 1st
In-House Leagues
1st-7th Grade
(Current Grades Spring 2025)
Rookies: Grades 1-2
Minors: Grades 3-4
Majors: Grades 5-7
Travel Teams
8U-18U
Registration for travel will open after teams have been rostered.
STEP 2
Register with SportsEngine to receive team communications
Fill out the Player Information form (linked below) to be connected with the AYF Sports Engine communications, teams, calendars, and all other information for the 2025 season.

Please complete the following survey so that we can follow Community Ed's Background check policy for all district volunteers.

Click blue icon below to download app.
Click green icon below to download app.
Sign-in using your Sports Engine account email.
Girls will be rostered after try-outs. Once rostered, team information will automatically show up in the SportsEngine App.
